“I Act for Equality” Campaign

Launched to promote equality between women and men, the “I Act for Equality” campaign mobilized citizens, public authorities, religious leaders, and young people around a strong message: everyone can take action for a more equal future.

Objectives :

  • Promote gender equality;
  • Raise public awareness of persistent inequalities;
  • Encourage everyone’s participation in efforts to reduce inequalities.

Key activities:

  • Awareness-raising meetings with traditional and religious authorities;
  • Community outreach caravans in N’Djaména neighborhoods, schools, and public spaces featuring sketches, posters, banners, flyers, and billboards; ;
  • Radio and television programs addressing public policies and international resolutions supporting equality;
  • A participatory digital campaigninviting individuals to define their own action for equality and share their message, accompanied by a photo, on Women Success social media platforms.

This campaign helped increase the visibility of the fight for equality in Chad and encouraged the engagement of men and boys as essential allies for social change..
