{"id":1318,"date":"2026-05-01T17:35:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T17:35:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/women-success.org\/?p=1318"},"modified":"2026-05-10T14:48:05","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T14:48:05","slug":"lancement-de-la-premiere-formation-des-beneficiaires-du-projet-dian-koum-ko-a-ndjamena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/women-success.org\/en\/actualites\/lancement-de-la-premiere-formation-des-beneficiaires-du-projet-dian-koum-ko-a-ndjamena\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of the First Training Session for Beneficiaries of the DIAN KOUM K\u00d6 Project in N\u2019Djamena"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the implementation of the project <strong>\u00ab DIAN KOUM K\u00d6: Empowered Women, Strong Communities \u00bb<\/strong>, Women Success officially launched in N\u2019Djamena the first training session dedicated to the program\u2019s beneficiaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project is implemented with the support of the <strong>\u201cLa Francophonie avec Elles\u201d Fund of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF)<\/strong>, which supports the economic and social empowerment of women in vulnerable situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This first cohort is composed of <strong>50 women<\/strong>, mainly single mothers and young mothers, selected to benefit from strengthened support toward economic independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Practical and Tailored Training<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organized over <strong>two days<\/strong>, this training aims to provide participants with practical skills that can be directly applied to the development of income-generating activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants are trained on several key topics, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communication and simplified marketing adapted to local realities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product development and value enhancement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fundamentals of entrepreneurship and project management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial management and savings mechanisms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The use of Mobile Money as a tool for financial inclusion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training approach emphasizes participatory methods, using practical examples, hands-on exercises, and real-life scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A Key Step Before Financial Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This training represents an essential phase of the project and serves as <strong>a prerequisite before financial support <\/strong>is granted to beneficiaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This support will enable participants to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Launch an income-generating activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or strengthen an existing business activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By combining <strong>skills development with access to financial resources<\/strong>, the project aims to ensure the effective use of funds and improve the sustainability of beneficiaries\u2019 activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Strengthening Women\u2019s Economic Empowerment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond technical skills, the project also focuses on strengthening beneficiaries\u2019 ability to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Better market their products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effectively manage their income<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a savings culture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invest in the growth of their activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A First Step Toward Sustainable Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This first training session marks an important milestone in the rollout of the project in N\u2019Djamena. A second cohort of beneficiaries will soon be trained in order to achieve the program\u2019s overall objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this initiative, Women Success
