As part of the implementation of the project « DIAN KOUM KÖ: Empowered Women, Strong Communities », Women Success officially launched in N’Djamena the first training session dedicated to the program’s beneficiaries.
This project is implemented with the support of the “La Francophonie avec Elles” Fund of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), which supports the economic and social empowerment of women in vulnerable situations.
This first cohort is composed of 50 women, mainly single mothers and young mothers, selected to benefit from strengthened support toward economic independence.
Practical and Tailored Training
Organized over two days, this training aims to provide participants with practical skills that can be directly applied to the development of income-generating activities.
Participants are trained on several key topics, including:
- Communication and simplified marketing adapted to local realities
- Product development and value enhancement
- Fundamentals of entrepreneurship and project management
- Financial management and savings mechanisms
- The use of Mobile Money as a tool for financial inclusion
The training approach emphasizes participatory methods, using practical examples, hands-on exercises, and real-life scenarios.
A Key Step Before Financial Support
This training represents an essential phase of the project and serves as a prerequisite before financial support is granted to beneficiaries.
This support will enable participants to:
- Launch an income-generating activity
- Or strengthen an existing business activity
By combining skills development with access to financial resources, the project aims to ensure the effective use of funds and improve the sustainability of beneficiaries’ activities.
Strengthening Women’s Economic Empowerment
Beyond technical skills, the project also focuses on strengthening beneficiaries’ ability to:
- Better market their products
- Effectively manage their income
- Develop a savings culture
- Invest in the growth of their activities
A First Step Toward Sustainable Impact
This first training session marks an important milestone in the rollout of the project in N’Djamena. A second cohort of beneficiaries will soon be trained in order to achieve the program’s overall objectives.
Through this initiative, Women Success reaffirms its commitment to supporting women toward sustainable economic empowerment and strengthening their role within their communities..
